“Jane Addams” in person on CAN-TV21!

“Jane” with Thom Clark“Jane” Close-Up“Jane” with Thom Clark

I made my TV debut as ”Jane Addams” in a role-play conversation with Thom Clark of CAN-TV21’s “Community Media and You” show. The original program aired on Saturday 12/8, & access to the videocast is now available to all on the internet.

Sincere thanks to Thom for patiently coaching a newbee: “Just look at me, Jan. Don’t ask yourself where the camera is.” Much appreciation also to Lucy Knight (who locked down some facts for me after the rehearsal) as well as Sylvia Ewing & Patrice Fletcher of AWJ (who provided behind-the-scenes technical advice).

Photos by Columbia College student & CAN-TV intern Jessica Rosenberg.  Jessica is the daughter of Nancy Rosenberg, President of the AAUW Hinsdale (IL) Branch. Illinois will celebrate its first annual Jane Addams Day on 12/10/07.
