Split Decision: Expecting a “comedy,” Rich was put off by Blethyn’s narcissistic, overbearing Mom. Expecting a “dramedy” (& having more personal experience in the spotlight), Jan was thoroughly charmed by this Australian tale of a middle-age comedienne slowly but surely growing up.
