Posted 12/18/11: Receiving my final ballot from the Chicago Film Critics Association this year was heartbreaking… I will post the final results as soon as they are announced, but almost nothing on the CFCA list of finalists reflects input from me (or, I would guess, most of the other women–few as they are–who are actually in this group).

If you want a case in point of the kind of thing that happens when male voters outnumber female voters by approximately 4 to 1, just consider these facts posted below 🙁
