Three films either written or directed by women filmmakers opened this week (though none were released in Manhattan theaters):
- Hooking Up
- Never Rarely Sometimes Always
- The Roads Not Taken
Of these three, so far I’ve seen one. All three are narrative features.
My Top Pick for March 13th (drumroll please!) is Never Rarely Sometimes Always. Even though it’s the only film I saw, I think it would still be hard to beat.
